Mercury Recoverability Mapping
Clear Mercury is in the process of developing a "Mercury Map of Recoverability" to document the opportunities where mercury is available for recovery from our rivers and streams and reservoirs. One of the main opportunities for possible mercury recovery is in our development projects that disturb or move sediments. In providing this Map on recoverable mercury we hope to give those in the project approval / management process clear information to use in making decisions that might affect mercury transport, and thus the quality of our water. We are building new sampling equipment with camera mounts so the important visual of how the sediment looks going through the separation process can be recorded and used in analysis.
